From the creator of Downton Abbey, Julian Fellowes next project is Titanic, like Downton, Fellowes’ take on Titanic will focus on the divide between the upper and lower classes. It looks very similar to the Jack and Rose story of the 1997 Mega-hit movie and with the 100th anniversary of the ship’s sinking also occurring in April, it might be titanic overload. Though I believe Fellowes’ can produce a story line that is much more in depth than just two characters, and given the fact that the class separation was more severe on the titanic than life at Downton, it should make for a great miniseries. Hopefully it will hold me over till season 3 returns of Downton Abbey (September 2012) set to start a new era at Downton, the Roaring 20s.
